This is eleven years after King George V's first visit to Frodsham on his way to visit the Royal Show at Chester. His Rolls Royce has stopped opposite the Town Hall. Frodsham's ex-servicemen wearing military decorations are lined up on the opposite side of the road and every window is crowded with onlookers. Some are perched precariously on a narrow flat roof over Bibby's Cake Shop.
